Great game to start the school year and/or to welcome Fall! Just download and print as many copies as you need.

TWO VERSIONS INCLUDED: One with 'A-C-O-R-N-S' to begin the words, and another with blank letter boxes so you can choose.

Letter and A4 paper sizes included for each version.

Easy to play:
1. Put students into partners or teams.
2. Each team comes up with a name and writes it at the bottom of the paper.
3. Teams have a set amount of time (or not, depending on the desired level of competition) to write words for each category on the left beginning with the letters in 'ACORNS'.
OR
Use the version with the blank letter boxes, and draw letters out of a hat or have the kids choose the letters to go at the top of each column.

This is a great activity to get kids working together. It can also be used in a family setting, with younger players partnered with older ones.

OPTIONAL: Make a rule that if you have written down the same answer as another team, it doesn't count (this makes it more challenging and encourages even more creativity!). You can also give bonus points for really creative answers.
