Super-fun team-building game for adults or teens – three sets included! This game works great in an ESL environment, or as an ice-breaker in any classroom or office. The list version can be used in online classes as well.

Just download and print a copy for each team (list version or card version). Participants have to work together to invent categories and classify the listed items. Afterwards, they must present their categories and explain how they classified everything.

Depending on the size of the group, environment etc., you can choose whether or not to simply hand out the list version ("Quick and easy") or cut out a set of cards for each team ("Hands-on version"). There is also a set of blank cards included for participants to write category names, or to create their own version of the game afterwards.

Here are some extra ideas for this game:

• Award extra points for creative categories
• Make it so the categories have to have 5 in each, or not
• Use a time limit
• Have a different team member present each category afterwards to get everyone talking 
• Print all the cards, mix them up and get even more play out of them!
